Dal Kofta Recipe

Make this vegetarian version of Kofta with this easy recipe using Dal.

  • 2 cups tur dal
  • 7 nos green chilles chopped
  • 3 tablespoon cumin seeds
  • 1 pinch asafotida
  • salt to taste
  • 3 tablespoon coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoon spoon grated coconut

How to make:

  • Soak tur dal over night. Then wash it thoroughly.
  • Grind it coarsely.
  • Then add chopped chilies, coriander leaves, grated coconut and cumin.
  • Then make small koftas (balls) with the mixture pressure-cook for 15 minutes.
  • Serve hot with rice dishes.
